December Writing Update

Hello and welcome back, I have a short writing update for you all. 

I won’t talk about Shadows of Kankor’s release as I’ll keep that for another post. 

Anyway, writing update:

Sword - A Book of The Damned, my apocalyptic adventure story is all planned and I’m currently sitting at around 33% of the first draft. Sword will be a lot shorter that either of my BrightStone Saga books. With 31 chapters planned and being a third of the way through the word count is sitting at about 20k. There will be some longer chapters so the finished draft I’m looking around the 70k mark. The plan is to release it in 2026 so I’m happy with where I am now. 

Onto the next, Book Three of The BrightStone Saga! It’s planned and outlined. But it's sitting at 94 chapters and the story isn’t finished yet. So, I have two options: I split the book into two parts and release them or take some of the story out and add it to book four. 

I’ll get around to that once I get through a decent chunk of the writing. 

But I digress, I have only started the first chapter but it’s a start. I want to focus on Sword and let the outline sit for a bit. 

Once Sword is finished my plan is to jump straight onto Book 3 of The BrightStone Saga and get that first draft done!

Then after that I plan on writing a scifi story that I’ve had half planned for a few years. That will be a standalone like Sword and will be based around Saturn, I won’t give anything else away. Then the plan is to work on Book 4 of The BrightStone Saga and hopefully finish off the story there, but you never know eh?

Anyway, I hope you got something from my ramblings and look forward to reading more stories from my mind.
