April Writing Update

Hi everyone!

What can I say?

I’ll start with my progress on Sword - my post apocalyptic katana wielding adventure story. It’s currently sitting at 43% still. I’m still loving the story and want to continue seeing where it will take me. But, last month was not a great month for writing and probably worse than last month if I’m going by my word count figures. I’ve got no excuses as I should have written more but, and this is a big but.

I’ve been working long hours at work and any spare time I’ve had has been sorting the house, the loft and the garage. It’s been a massive job as well as getting all of the old baby stuff ready.

Yep, on top of work, sorting the house and already having two kids, we’re doing it again. Baby number three is due in July. Not sure how that’s going to go with sleep patterns and all that, we’ll just have to wait and see, I suppose. 

That’s part of the reason why I was trying to push myself so hard with finishing this book but I think it has royally backfired on me. I’m constantly tired and that’s only going to get worse so I need to just get on with writing. Maybe I need to join a writing group and add some more stress haha. 

Anyway, that’s it for now. Keep an eye out for more updates coming soon.
